Job summary

Hardwood Industries, Inc. in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Customer Service / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment.

You will assist walk-in and account customers, process orders and payments, answer product questions, and help maintain a safe, organized facility while coordinating with sales, operations, drivers, and other locations to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience.
• Experience in customer service, warehouse, building-material, distribution, or order processing.
• Ability to read and follow order documents, product labels, safety instructions, and written procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to learn linear, square-foot, and board-foot calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, determine product or service needs.
• Enter routine orders, prepare documentation, collect payments, route questions to sales/manager.
• Process orders, communicate order status, and assist customers when sales personnel are unavailable.
• Support inventory and order fulfillment, verify stock, receive inbound material, and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment per safety rules.
