Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Order Processing Associate in the Supply Chain Management team. The role operates on a US shift (Mon–Fri, 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM) and focuses on order processing and overall supply chain tasks from the Honolulu area.

Responsibilities include sales order creation, inventory allocation, sending pick tickets, invoicing, and coordination with sales reps and stakeholders. Strong Excel skills and English proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of relevant experience in order processing or supply chain roles.
• Experience handling order processing/supply chain cycle for major US retailers (e.g., Walmart, Saks, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom).
• Excellent advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of US business English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create sales orders and allocate from inventory.
• Send pick tickets to warehouse for shipping.
• Coordinate with warehouse via phone and email.
• Manage invoicing, credit memos, and return authorizations.

Order Processing Associate (Supply Chain Management)

Job Summary: This position requires working on a US shift (Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM) handling order processing and supply chain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sales order creation.
• Sales order allocation from inventory.
• Sending pick tickets to the warehouse for shipping.
• Warehouse coordination via phone and email.
• Invoicing, credit memo, and return authorization.
• Coordination between sales representatives, owners, and other stakeholders.
• Inventory management.
• Factoring – obtaining credit approvals from factoring companies/banks.

Work Timing: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM, Monday to Friday; no rotating shifts.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Prior experience handling order processing/supply chain cycle for major US retailers such as Walmart, Saks, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, etc.
• Experience with EDI orders (EDI-850, EDI-856, EDI-810, etc.).
• Excellent advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of US business English.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education

Graduate or postgraduate with good communication skills.
