Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an Order Picker 1 for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime including weekends as needed). You will pick and pack customer orders in a high-volume station, maintaining productivity and accuracy while using a hand scanner.

Responsibilities include meeting daily targets, ensuring quality, conserving resources, and keeping a clean, organized work area to support safe operations. Education: High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with RF scanners is preferred.

Job Summary

Position: Order Picker 1

Schedule: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)

Picks and packs customer orders in a high-volume zone picking station; maintains established productivity and accuracy standards.

Essential Job Functions *

• Uses a hand scanner to determine order requirements
• Pulls the correct product from the stock area and packs it into the appropriate boxes
• Meets required daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour
• Ensure that work meets quality standards
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to the manager
• Maintains a current knowledge of operating procedures and company products
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
