Job summary

The Hillman Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a 2nd Order Picker 1 for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, with possible overtime). Base rate $16.00/hour plus $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift, creating competitive compensation in a fast‑paced warehouse.

You will use a hand‑held RF scanner to identify orders, pull correct products, pack them securely, and maintain productivity and quality standards while keeping an orderly workspace.

Qualifications

Base Rate: $16.00/Hour

Shift Differential: $1.50 for hours on 2nd Shift

Picks and packs customer orders in high‑volume zone picking station; maintains established productivity and accuracy standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Uses a hand scanner to determine order requirements.
• Pulls correct product from the stock area and packs it into appropriate boxes.
• Meets required daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour.
• Ensures work meets quality standards.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manager.
• Maintains current knowledge of operating procedures and company products.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
