Job summary

Atlas Copco Group Co.,Ltd in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Order Picker to ensure production lines are supplied with accurate and timely kitting carts by picking, staging, and delivering components according to system-generated pick lists. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least three years warehouse/receiving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of logistics/order picker experience.
• Experience with AS400 (BPCS) and WMS systems.
• Strong communication skills and lean manufacturing understanding.
• Knowledge of production planning and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick, verify, and load components onto kitting carts per pick lists.

• Repack materials and dispose of packaging safely.
• Report missing parts and operational issues promptly.

Your role

The Order Picker ensures production lines are supplied with accurate and timely kitting carts by picking, staging, and delivering components according to system-generated pick lists while supporting continuous improvement, productivity, and logistics excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, verify, and load components onto kitting carts according to pick lists, instructions, and production requirements.
• Use handheld scanning devices to process pick lists and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure kitting carts are available, properly stocked, and in good working condition.
• Repack materials and dispose of packaging materials safely and efficiently.
• Report missing parts, inventory shortages, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance logistics processes.
• Follow all Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), quality, and company standards while promoting Atlas Copco's core values of Interaction, Commitment, and Innovation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Position requires a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), at least three years of warehouse and/ or receiving experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a logistic environment as an order picker.
• Use of IT tools like AS400 (BPCS), WMS systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concept.
• Understanding of production planning.
• Knowledge of safety processes, procedures and systems.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times (occasionally)
