Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Global Clinical Order Manager for onsite work in South San Francisco, CA. You will oversee in-house packaging orders for IMPs, ensure on-time in-full delivery, and collaborate with CSCL, Materials Management, Artworks Management, Master Data Deployment, Packaging Operations and Quality Units to resolve issues.

The role requires deep GMP mindset, 6+ years in pharma or supply chain, SAP/OMP/APO experience, and certifications such as APICS/SCOR or Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in the pharma industry and/or supply chain management.
• ERP system experience, e.g. SAP, OMP or APO.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German skills are beneficial.
• APICS or SCOR certification (or equivalent), PMP/Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean training or associated relevant experience are a strong plus.
• Competencies: Customer and patient focused, ability to create trusting relationships with business partners.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities, proactive, adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-house packaging orders and drive on-time in-full delivery of IMPs.
• Set up Standard Packaging Designs in cooperation with the CSCL and other teams.
• Escalate major packaging-related issues impacting timelines to the CSCL.
• Collaborate across Quality Units to resolve discrepancies and maintain GMP compliance.
• Enable the Medication Randomization process for blinded studies.

Job Title: Global Clinical Order Manager

Mode: Onsite

Description:

• PTDS Global Clinical Supply Chain Management department packages and distributes Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) required.
• The Global Clinical Order Management (GCOM) team prepares all packaging orders produced at our clinical packaging facilities in Kaiseraugst and South San Francisco. The GCOM Tasks & Responsibilities include:
• Manage in-house packaging orders and drive the on-time in-full delivery of IMPs.
• Be accountable for setting up Standard Packaging Designs in cooperation with the Clinical Supply Chain Lead (CSCL), other Production Enablement teams like Materials Management and Artworks Management, the Master Data Deployment team, Packaging Operations, and Quality Units. Manage operational issues and discrepancies with Quality Units. Escalate any major in-house packaging-related issue with an impact on the end-to-end timeline to the CSCL.
• Enable the Medication Randomization process for blinded studies.
