Job summary

Global Clinical Order Manager in South San Francisco, CA is a long-term contract role within a world leader in biotechnology. You will manage in-house packaging orders and ensure on-time, in-full delivery of IMPs and support packaging designs across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree, 6+ years pharma or supply chain experience, ERP exposure (SAP/OMP/APO), and strong English communication skills; German is a plus. APICS/SCOR or PMP/Lean training is a strong plus.

Our client, aworld leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a“GlobalClinical Order Manager” based in SSF, CA.

Job Duration:Long Term Contract(Possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $64/hr on W2

Global Clinical Supply Chain Management department packages anddistributes Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) required for client’sclinical trials. They prepares all packaging orders produced at our clinicalpackaging facilities in Kaiseraugst and South San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage in-house packaging ordersand drive the “on-time in-full” delivery of IMPs.
• Be accountable for setting upStandard Packaging Designs in cooperation with the ClinicalSupply ChainLead (CSCL), other Production Enablement teams like Materials Management andArtworks Management, the Master Data Deployment team,Packaging Operations,and Quality Units.
• Manage operational issues anddiscrepancies with Quality Units. Escalate any major in-housepackaging-relatedissue with an impact on the end-to-end timeline to the CSCL.
• Enable the MedicationRandomization process for blinded studies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in relevantfield
• 6+ years of experience in thepharma industry and/or supply chain management
• ERP system experience, e.g. SAP,OMP or APO
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in English; German skills are beneficial
• APICS or SCOR certification (orequivalent), PMP/Operational Excellence/Six Sigma/Lean training or associated relevant experience are a strongplus
