Job summary

ABB is seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Manager in Pinetops, NC. You will provide internal and external customer service, including technical support, order and payment-related assistance, and claims management. You’ll coordinate with functions to ensure complete case ownership and improve customer satisfaction.

You will work with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping to complete orders and ship on time, while handling complex requests with cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of ABB systems such as SPINE, SAP, SOM is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with teamwork.

This position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for providing internal and external customer service, including technical support, order, and payment-related assistance, claims management. Each day, you will coordinate with relevant functions to ensure complete case ownership. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing customer satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Pinetops, NC. Main stakeholders are both internal and external customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Pro-actively communicates with customers and internal functions to guarantee customer satisfaction by providing all relevant information.
• Coordinate directly with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping to ensure that the orders are completed and ship on time.
• Ensures the resolution of customer issues (e.g. order, technical, payment) by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams.
• Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g. production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience, or associates with 8 years and HS with 10 years; or alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft outlook.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong knowledge of ABB systems, SPINE, SAP, SOM, would be a plus.
• Operates in a fast-paced environment where critical decisions must be made quickly, and teamwork is essential.
• This role does not include relocation.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
