• 1+ year of experience in order processing, customer service or complex order management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.

• 2–3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full order fulfillment cycle from receipt to completion.
• Review, validate and process complex orders in internal systems.
• Monitor order flow and resolve potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Coordinate processing of repairs and custom orders.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Train and mentor Order Fulfillment Associates as needed.
• Contribute to SOP development and process improvements.

Additionally, the Order Fulfillment & Processing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end order fulfillment process with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. This role requires a deeper understanding of order systems, inventory management, and cross-departmental coordination. The Specialist serves as a key point of support for resolving complex order issues, improving processes, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.This is a seasonal position supporting our Order Fulfillment Team. The position is full-time hours with strong overtime availability from November-December, and expected scheduling flexibility on certain weekends. At this time, Blue Nile will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the full order fulfillment cycle from receipt to completionReview, validate, and process complex and high-priority orders in internal systemsMonitor order flow and proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or delaysTrack outstanding orders and address issues to prevent procurement and fulfillment delaysIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve order discrepancies, system errors, and fulfillment issuesMonitor and respond to new messages within the order management system in a timely mannersReview and process canceled orders, QC fails, Quick Fix, and HD ordersServe as an escalation point for order-related issues, providing timely and effective resolutionsPartner closely with Customer Service, Production, Quality Assurance & Shipping to ensure seamless executionCoordinate the processing of repair requests and custom orders while maintaining service standardsSupport inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolutionMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of order status and fulfillment activitiesTrain and mentor Order Fulfillment Associates as neededContribute to the development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Prioritize urgent and high-value orders while maintaining precision, efficiency, and qualityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with operational standardsRequirements:Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a order processing, customer service or complex order management roleIntermediate Proficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detailWorks with a sense of urgencyClear communicatorStrong problem solving and excellent at following directions2-3 years of relevant experience preferredAs a reminder, this is a seasonal position without benefits offered.
