General Purpose:

The Order Fulfillment Associate I is responsible for accurately fulfilling and shipping customer and internal orders within Glock’s manufacturing and distribution operations. This role performs picking, packing, inspection, shipment preparation, and related fulfillment activities while maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and adherence to quality and compliance standards. The Order Fulfillment Associate I supports operational performance through timely, accurate, and compliant execution of outbound order requirements.

Shift(s) Available:
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and process customer and internal order requirements
  • Pick materials and products according to order demand and established procedures, as operationally assigned
  • Verify product identity, quantity, and condition prior to fulfillment and shipment
  • Pack products in accordance with established packaging and shipment standards, as operationally assigned
  • Prepare shipments using approved shipping systems and processes
  • Generate labels, shipment documentation, and required system transactions
  • Stage completed shipments in designated outbound areas
  • Execute ERP/WMS transactions to maintain inventory visibility and fulfillment accuracy
  • Identify, communicate, and escalation discrepancies impacting fulfillment activities
  • Maintain inventory traceability and accountability throughout fulfillment operations
Quality and Compliance
  • Verify order accuracy and maintain traceability prior to shipment release
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures related to fulfillment activities
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas consistent with 5S and Lean standards
  • Support adherence to ISO and company operational standards
Cross-Training and Development
  • Participate in cross-training to build proficiency in related logistics functions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational performance.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or order fulfillment operations.

  • Experience using ERP, WMS (Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365), and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Powered Industrial Truck certification (internally certified) may be required based on operational assignment and responsibilities.
  • Must successfully pass and maintain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) under TSA regulations

The employee is regularly required to lift and move boxes with an average weight of 40 lbs., but a maximum weight of 70 lbs. Personal safety protective equipment required. The employee is regularly required to push a cart with an average weight of 260 lbs. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the work environment primarily requires the employee to occasionally be exposed to filtered humidity and temperature-controlled air between 65ºF and 80ºF and sometimes outside weather conditions, which can include sunshine, rain, sleet, and snow, high or low temperature and humidity. Standing and walking back and forth from office to warehouses and other buildings. The employee is regularly required to work in an industrial setting and with computers and work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation and may be asked to work overtime and weekends when needed for special programs or events.
