Job summary

GFA Alabama, Inc. in Georgia is seeking an Order Filler to support the operation by pulling and sequencing orders to meet shipping deadlines.

The role requires loading parts onto dollies, maintaining records, ensuring safety, and collaborating with Supervisors and Leadership to resolve issues; strong attendance and teamwork are essential. Candidates must have at least two years of warehousing or manufacturing experience, be able to lift 20-25 pounds, wear safety gear, and pass drug/background

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming orders and selects the correct part from the warehouse and loads into dollies for sequencing.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped with dates and locations.
• Resolves issues with Supervisors and Leadership when problems arise.
• Collects and disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Order Filler will support the operation to pull and sequence the orders received in a efficient timely manner to meet the shipping deadlines.

Shifts -

1st shift: Mon - Thurs 7:00am to 6:30pm / Friday 8:30am to 11:00pm

2nd shift: Mon - Wed 6:30pm to 7:00am / Thurs 6:30pm to 8:30am / Sun 10:30pm to 7:00am

Saturdays - As needed by customer demand.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives incoming orders and selects the correct part from the warehouse and loads into dollies for staging the sequence order.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• When problems arise, resolve issues with Supervisors and Leadership.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• At least two years of related experience in warehousing or manufacturing required.

• Must be able to lift 20-25 pounds at a time.
• Having the ability to push, pull, lift, bend and stand throughout the shift.
• Must wear safety gear, such as gloves when handling box cutters or similar tools.
