Job summary

Stulz in Denton, TX seeks a warehouse associate to prepare and route production floor materials, load and move items, and maintain inventory records. Must be forklift certified and able to operate forklifts and related equipment.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience, familiarity with SAP WM/MRP/ERP (preferred), strong attention to detail, and solid math and communication skills. This role involves physical work in a loud warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Must be forklift certified and maintain certification.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
• Locate and stock received materials, rotating inventory by receipt date in accordance with warehouse procedures.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Assist in maintaining planning and production reports, specifically regarding manufacturing order shortages.
• Follow the Supervisor's oral instructions or work schedule to identify materials or containers that need to be moved to fulfill manufacturing orders.
• Assist in posting all transactions related to inventory, transfers, adjustments and variances with the basic understanding and concepts of rejection tags, view of all sites and QOH balances.

Prepares and routes jobs for the production floor, loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite and fills production material needs by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be forklift certified and maintain certification.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and/or electrically powered devices needed for moving material.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
• Locate and stock received materials, rotating inventory by receipt date in accordance with warehouse procedures.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting aid devices and cleans work area.
• Keeps a clean, well-organized work environment.
• Works under the guidance of the Warehouse Foremen.
• Labels and tags items properly.
• Provide input on solutions to obstacles that hinder work efficiency.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Assist in maintaining planning and production reports, specifically regarding manufacturing order shortages.
• Follow the Supervisor's oral instructions or work schedule to identify materials or containers that need to be moved to fulfill manufacturing orders.
• Assist in performing daily cycle counts in the stock count module and create and conduct cycle counts as issues arise with production and various departments.
• Assist in posting all transactions related to inventory, transfers, adjustments and variances with the basic understanding and concepts of rejection tags, view of all sites and QOH balances.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift and order picker experience
• Prior warehouse experience
• SAP WM/MRP/ERP system (preferred)

Language Skills:

Mathematical Skills:

• Conversion to lowest unit of measure and calculating price
