Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking a dependable Warehouse / Production Associate for 2nd shift (2:30PM-11:00PM) in New Jersey. The role covers packing, order picking, palletizing, shipping, and quality inspections in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has warehouse or production experience, is comfortable operating material handling equipment, and can perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Forklift or rider pallet jack experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, production, packaging, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.
• Basic math and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and packaging duties including lifting, packing, taping, labeling, sorting, and palletizing.
• Accurately pick and pull customer orders while verifying product types and quantities.
• Move products using pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks as needed.
• Transport completed orders to shipping and delivery areas.
• Inspect pallets for labeling, shipping information, and load configuration.
• Repack and weigh orders as needed.
• Load and unload shipments and place inventory into racking locations.
