Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to enter prescriptions into our pharmacy system and communicate with customers by phone. This on-site role at our closed-door pharmacy in Maryland requires accuracy and urgency to support residents in long-term care facilities.

The position offers full-time hours, a shift differential, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Training schedules are required during the first four weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Two years of experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required.
• Order entry experience is essential.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology and drugs are needed.
• Math and analytical abilities are important for accurate calculations.

Responsibilities

• Efficient order entry and follow-up.
• Troubleshooting prescription/patient data discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input.
• Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with urgency and timeliness.
