Thermal Dynamics in Porterville, CA is seeking an Order Entry & Customer Service Coordinator to keep orders moving from sale to shipment. You will turn approved quotes into sales orders, issue POs to vendors, prepare shipping paperwork, and support front-office operations.

Accuracy matters, and you'll handle multiple orders with strong communication. The role emphasizes attention to detail, learning new software, and collaborating with sales and customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in order entry, purchasing, customer service, or office administration.
• High attention to detail and comfort double-checking your own work.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Clear, professional communication by phone and email.
• Able to manage several open orders at once and follow through without reminders.

Responsibilities

• Enter sales orders and update sales orders as needed.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors and follow up on confirmations, lead times, and backorders.
• Prepare packing slips and shipping documents, and coordinate outbound and inbound freight.
• Work daily from CRM work queues: new and open sales orders, approved quotes without orders, and aging POs.
• Keep customers informed about order status, delivery dates, and changes.
• Support outside and inside sales with order details, documentation, and follow-up.
• Help with service intake and customer records.
• Cover front-office phones and walk-in customers, and assist with general office administration.
