Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Customer Service Representative to create a positive customer experience through timely communication and accurate order processing across the full order lifecycle. You’ll verify data, update files, and collaborate with sales and internal teams to resolve issues and drive customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or similar discipline.
• Experience in Chemical Distribution or Manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Capable of problem solving, working independently, and handling a heavy workload.

Responsibilities

• Place and confirm orders via phone, email or EDI and inform customers of changes.
• Verify shipping, billing, pricing, and purchase order information.
• Enter special instructions and update customer files with pricing and delivery details.
• Support sales staff and communicate with customers in the field and office.
• Audit POs for pricing, quantity, terms, ETA, carrier, and notes.
• Process returns promptly per documented procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory policies.
