Job summary

JB Martin Company in Leesville, SC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as the main liaison between customers and internal teams. You will manage inquiries, process orders in the ERP, and provide product and delivery information to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of the company’s products, production timelines, and logistics, with strong communication and organizational skills to handle a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3+ years in customer service, preferably in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience with ERP/order management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and complaints via phone, email, or portals.
• Enter and manage sales orders in the ERP system with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality control to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Provide order status updates, shipping schedules, and delivery confirmations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating to management when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and actions taken.
• Monitor open orders and backlogs, communicating delays or changes to customers.
• Support sales/account teams by identifying potential opportunities or issues with key accounts.
• Ensure customer documentation (specifications, shipping instructions, compliance forms) is accurate.
• Assist with returns, credits, and warranty claims processing.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve customer experience and internal processes.
