Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Durham, NC is hiring a Load Builder to assemble customer orders from finished textiles and prepare them for shipment. You will work with the production and distribution teams and report to the Production Manager.

The role requires attention to packing requirements, counting and sorting textiles, and adhering to productivity, quality and safety standards, including PPE. The work is physical, involving standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and using the Spindle system for

Qualifications

• Counting and sorting of textiles for order assembly.
• Inspection of finished products to identify quality concerns.
• Follow written packing instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished, cleaned products from production departments and organize them for order assembly.
• Review packing requirements and place correct products into designated route carts, bins, or storage locations.
• Maintain product flow in the load-building area to support delivery schedules.
• Identify and report product shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns to management.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and safety standards, including proper use of PPE.
• Log in and out of Spindle (internal productivity tracking system).
