Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking an Order Analyst in Indianapolis, IN to drive accurate customer order fulfillment. You will review orders, process EDI communications, and coordinate with Operations to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires SAP proficiency, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate has 2 years in related roles, an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and a focus on accuracy and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in order fulfillment, customer service, supply chain, or related operations.
• Experience with SAP, EDI, or similar business systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in logistics, systems, or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary source of input for customer order requirements.
• Review orders, RFQs, and future schedules for accuracy and feasibility.
• Process EDI communications and ensure data integrity in SAP.
• Coordinate build/ship timing with Operations and inform customers of critical delivery information.
• Identify missed shipments and drive timely resolution and ownership.
• Communicate order status proactively to customers and cross-functional teams.
• Support export controls compliance and purchase order documentation.
