Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Oral surgery, dental, or medical experience preferred.
• Treatment coordination experience.
• Knowledge of dental and medical insurance, benefits, pre-authorizations, and claims.
• Experience with surgical or hospital scheduling.
• Comfort discussing treatment fees, insurance estimates, and patient financial responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple patients, treatment plans, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, patient-focused, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Treatment Coordination: Review treatment plans with patients and assist with scheduling.
• Financial Coordination: Review fees, insurance benefits, and patient responsibilities.
• Insurance & Pre-Authorizations: Verify benefits and submit pre-auths.
• Claims: Assist with submission of insurance claims and documentation.
• Surgery Scheduling: Coordinate office and hospital-based surgeries.
• Unscheduled Surgery Follow-Up: Track reports and assist with scheduling/finances.
• Patient Documentation: Maintain treatment plans and communication in records.
• Daily Reporting: Complete end-of-day reports for accuracy.
• Team Collaboration: Work with surgeons, staff, hospitals, and insurers.
