Job summary

Flagship Specialty Partners is seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant I in Denver to support the surgical team. You will observe, train, and participate with supervision in setting up for minor procedures, assisting, instrument processing, and room turnover.

You will also circulate on surgeries, document in the EMR, and perform related tasks such as radiographs, impressions, scans, and suture removal as directed. This entry-level position offers growth and a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of approved nitrous oxide course required.
• Anesthesia-related continuing education required or obtained within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up for non-sterile and sterile procedures under supervision with appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during minor surgical procedures, including suctioning and instrumentation under supervision, until core competencies are met.
• Circulate on surgical procedures, complete EMR entries and related documentation.
• Perform additional tasks (capture radiographs, take dental impressions, intraoral scans, remove sutures, pack placement) as directed.
