Job summary

Flagship Specialty Partners is seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant I to join our Matthews, NC practice. This full-time, on-site position offers training opportunities in minor procedures, instrument setup, and room turnover under supervision, with a supportive team focused on high-quality patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus nitrous oxide course and anesthesia-related continuing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of approved nitrous oxide course.
• Anesthesia-related continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Set up for non-sterile and sterile procedures under supervision with appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during minor procedures including suctioning, retracting, and passing instruments under supervision.
• Circulate on procedures and complete EMR entries, paperwork and logs.
• Perform related duties such as capturing radiographs, dental impressions, intraoral scans, and suture removal.
