Job summary

Flagship Specialty Partners is seeking an entry-level Oral Surgery Assistant to support a fast-paced practice. Gain hands-on experience observing and training with supervision, while performing setup, instrument processing, and intraoperative assistance in minor procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nitrous oxide course completed (approved).
• Anesthesia-related continuing education completed or obtained within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up for non-sterile and sterile procedures under supervision with appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during minor surgical procedures including suctioning, retracting, passing instruments, and airway support under supervision.
• Circulates on surgical procedures and completes EMR entries, paperwork, logs, etc.
• Performs other procedures as directed (capture radiographs, impressions, intraoral scans, remove sutures, etc.).

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of approved nitrous oxide course

Anesthesia-related continuing education
