Job summary

DOCS Health seeks a part-time Oral Surgeon to provide a wide range of dentoalveolar procedures in modern, fully digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. You will practice with clinical autonomy and join a supportive team delivering exceptional care to military families.

Flexible scheduling (1-2 Saturdays per month), malpractice insurance, and strong clinical support are included; no after-hours or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency with board cert or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• DEA license (if sedation or prescribing).
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain Real ID for base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions and alveoloplasty.
• Provide in-office sedation where credentialed and permitted.
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants for safe patient care.
• Document findings and treatment plans in digital charts.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain high standard of care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Your Role As a Part-Time Oral Surgeon

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office)
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility
• Active, unrestricted state dental license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
