Job summary

DOCS Dental seeks a part-time Oral Surgeon to provide specialty care in modern, fully digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide for military families, veterans, and federal employees.

You will practice with clinical autonomy, supported by a team, with competitive compensation and flexible scheduling, including 1–2 Saturdays per month, and no after-hours or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical) and alveoloplasty.
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license).
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts.
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Your Role as a Part-Time Oral Surgeon:

• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office)
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility
• Active, unrestricted state dental license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
