Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to join on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. You’ll perform wide scope dentoalveolar procedures, provide in-office sedation where credentialed, and collaborate with dentists and staff in a fast-paced, clinical setting.

The role offers autonomy within a supportive team, competitive compensation (or production-based), and a schedule with 1-2 Saturdays per month, with potential expansion. Active US dental license required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification and DEA license if sedation is performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries.
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office).
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts.
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility
• Active, unrestricted state dental license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)
• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
