Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to provide autonomous surgical care in modern, fully digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. You will collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality dentoalveolar procedures and in-office sedation where credentialed.

The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, support from an experienced team, and a meaningful impact serving military families and federal employees.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication).
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain Real ID for base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions and dentoalveolar surgeries.
• Provide in-office sedation as credentialed and permitted by state license per office.
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital charts.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Your Role As a Part-Time Oral Surgeon

• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office)
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
