Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to join modern, digitally integrated clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide. The role offers clinical autonomy, collaboration with a supportive team, and the opportunity to serve military families, veterans, and federal employees.

Qualified candidates will have a DMD or DDS, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency with board certification or eligibility, an active unrestricted license, CPR/BLS, and a DEA license if sedation or

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• DEA license if sedation or prescribing medications.
• Background check and base access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries.
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office).
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts.
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Education

DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency

Board certification or eligibility in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Active, unrestricted state dental license

DEA license (if performing sedation or prescribing medication)

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility

• Ability to pass background screening, drug testing, and obtain Real ID for base access
