Job summary

DOCS Dental is seeking a part-time Oral Surgeon to provide a wide range of dentoalveolar procedures in modern, fully digital clinics located on Army and Air Force bases nationwide.

You will work with a supportive team, maintain clinical autonomy, and enjoy a flexible schedule with 1-2 Saturdays per month, with potential for expansion. Malpractice coverage and a fully staffed clinic support the role.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental program.
• Completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency and board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• DEA license if performing sedation or prescribing medication.
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain Real ID for base access.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions and other dentoalveolar surgeries.
• Provide in-office sedation as credentialed and permitted by state license.
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants for safe patient care.
• Document findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain high standard of care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Your Role As a Part-Time Oral Surgeon

• Perform a wide scope of surgical procedures including extractions (routine and surgical), alveoloplasty, and other dentoalveolar surgeries
• Provide in-office sedation (as credentialed and permitted by state license per office)
• Collaborate with general dentists and dental assistants to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans in digital patient charts
• Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures
