Job summary

KAPITAL is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Lead with strong Core HR and Compensation expertise to lead solution design, configuration, and implementation. This role demands hands-on leadership, client-facing communication, and a track record of delivering complex HCM projects.

The candidate will drive end-to-end deployments, supervise design sessions, configure enterprise structures and compensation programs, and coordinate cross-team activities.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of Oracle HCM functional experience, including 5+ years with Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Core HR and Compensation.
• At least two full lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations with lead responsibility.
• Experience with enterprise/workforce structures, employment models and approvals.
• Knowledge of compensation plan configuration, budgeting and cycle administration.
• Experience with HDL/HSDL, OTBI and BI Publisher for data migration and reporting.
• Understanding of HCM security roles and cross-module dependencies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel 50% to Atlanta, GA; rest of work remote in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR and Compensation implementations.
• Conduct discovery, workshops, fit-gap analysis, and translate needs into solutions.
• Configure Core HR: structures, legal employers, jobs, positions, grades, workflows.
• Configure Compensation plans, budgets, worksheets, approvals, statements.
• Support compensation cycles with salary reviews and bonuses.
• Prepare functional design docs, config workbooks, test scenarios.
• Collaborate with tech teams on integrations, data conversions, reports.
• Lead functional testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, sign-off.
• Coordinate cutover, training, knowledge transfer, hypercare.
• Serve as primary contact for Core HR and Compensation with stakeholders.
