Job summary

Symhas is seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to lead and support implementations, upgrades, and production support across Oracle E-Business Suite and Fusion Financials. The role focuses on FAH, SLA, FA, and Project Accounting, working in a hands-on, delivery-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will manage onshore-offshore teams, interact with Finance stakeholders, and guide BR100 documentation, testing, and post-go-live activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS / Fusion Financials functional experience across core modules.
• Deep expertise in FAH and SLA, including ADRs and Mapping Sets.
• Proven ability to lead onshore-offshore delivery with finance stakeholders.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to lead and support implementations, upgrades, and production support across core Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and Oracle Fusion Financials modules. The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional SME with deep expertise in the Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA), Fixed Assets (FA), and Project Accounting, comfortable working in an onshore-offshore delivery model.

This role is fully remote (U.S.).

Work Authorization: Open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders (Lawful Permanent Residents) only. No visa sponsorship is available now or in the future. W2 only - Corp-to-Corp (C2C) engagements are not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and support of Oracle Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Inventory, Expenses, and Projects.
• Implement and support Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA): source system setup, Account Derivation Rules (ADRs), Journal Line Rules, Mapping Sets, and the event model.
• Configure Fixed Assets (FA), including asset capitalization for capital and contract projects.
• Set up and support Project Accounting integrated with Procurement, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.
• Design and test inbound accounting interfaces and reconcile FAH journals to GL balances.
• Configure core setups: Chart of Accounts, legal entities, ledgers, reporting currencies, and approval hierarchies.
• Support Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) flows, including IR/ISO processes.
• Write and troubleshoot PL/SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Lead UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support; support month-end close cycles and reconciliations.
• Provide SME guidance, training, and documentation (e.g., BR100) to Finance teams and offshore resources.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS / Fusion Financials functional experience across core modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Projects).
• Hands-on expertise with Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH) and Subledger Accounting (SLA), including ADRs, Journal Line Rules, and Mapping Sets.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fixed Assets (FA) and Project Accounting / asset capitalization.
• Proficiency writing PL/SQL for troubleshooting, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading fit-gap analysis, setups, SIT/UAT, cutover, and period-close support.
• Proven ability to lead onshore-offshore teams and work directly with Finance stakeholders.

Preferred

• Experience with cross-module integrations (OM, Procurement, FA, Projects) and IR/ISO flows.
• Experience migrating from third-party tax systems to Oracle EBTax.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.
