Job summary

Grant Thornton in Chicago is seeking an Oracle Solution Architect to provide advisory and implementation services across client organizations within the Transformation Practice.

You will guide full life cycle implementations, document requirements, configure applications, train users, and provide post-production support. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s a plus.
• Minimum 4 years in a similar consulting role servicing cross-industry clients.
• Minimum of 4 full life cycle Oracle implementations.
• Industry certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics, and reports.
• Experience with Oracle integrations and cloud apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations (planning, design, build).
• Document business requirements, system design, and goals.
• Configure applications and conduct unit testing.
• Create training materials and user guides.
• Conduct end-user training for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Meet or exceed billed hours and utilization targets.
• Travel up to 40% as needed.
