Job summary

Grant Thornton seeks an Oracle Solution Architect to deliver advisory and implementation services across client organizations. You’ll work with the Transformation team to help clients achieve their vision and more, with emphasis on Oracle ERP and cloud solutions.

You will document requirements, design, train users, and support deployment, while meeting billing targets and traveling as needed up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, IT, MIS, or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years in a consulting role serving cross-industry clients at national level.
• Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Oracle ERP or similar apps.
• Industry recognized professional certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles, metrics and reports.
• Experience with application integration and back-end data connectivity.
• Experience installing/configuring/implementing Oracle Applications.
• Exposure or training on Oracle Cloud Applications; knowledge of Oracle Cloud.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects.
• Strong leadership; able to conduct meetings and write tech docs.
• Able to map current state to future state processes; travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full life cycle implementations including planning, design, and build phases.
• Document business requirements, system design, and transformational goals.
• Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
• Create training materials and quick reference guides for user adoption.
• Conduct training classes to prepare end users for deployment.
• Provide post-production support.
• Participate in full life cycle implementations.
• Identify business requirements, functional/design processes, prototyping and testing.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Other duties as assigned.
