Airbnb is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own Oracle EPM planning and AI-enabled finance workflows. You will design, implement, and support planning modules, automation, and integrations with the data warehouse.

The role emphasizes AI agent development, data modeling, and collaboration with FP&A and Tech partners to deliver scalable, accurate forecasts and insights. Remote-eligible in the US, with occasional office visits as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on Oracle Hyperion/EPM
3+ years supporting FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax
Hands-on AI automation and AI agents experience
SQL proficiency for data validation and ad-hoc analysis
Experience integrating EPM with ERP via middleware
Experience operating data orchestration and ETL/ELT pipelines
Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM Planning modules (Financials, Workforce, Capital, Cash Forecast, LRP)
Develop business rules and calc scripts; Groovy scripting for modeling
Support data flows with AWS data warehouse, Oracle ERP Cloud, Workday
Assist with monthly patch cycle, regression testing and impact analysis
Automate FP&A processes to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy
Build and maintain EPM Reports; support Smart View ad-hoc analysis
Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows
Collaborate with Finance and Tech to prioritize AI opportunities and deliver AI-generated forecasts
