Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support Oracle Hyperion/EPM planning and AI-enabled finance workflows. You will enhance budgeting, forecasting, and data integration across the data warehouse, ERP Cloud, and Workday, while building AI agents to automate FP&A processes.

In this role you will partner with BizTech FP&A and Finance teams, manage monthly cycles, perform system admin tasks, and drive process improvements with Groovy scripts, EPM Automate, and SQL validations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion/EPM (minimum 2 years in EPM Cloud).
• 3+ years of experience supporting finance functions (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax).
• Hands-on experience building AI automation and AI agents.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and ad-hoc analysis.
• Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP via middleware (OIC or equivalent).
• Experience operating data orchestration and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & System Admin: design, configure, and maintain Oracle EPM Planning modules.
• Develop and maintain calc scripts and Groovy-based models.
• Data Integration: support data flows between AWS data warehouse, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Workday.
• Environment Management: assist with monthly patch cycle and regression testing.
• FP&A Functional Support: streamline budgeting/forecasting, automate manual models, improve data integration.
• Reporting & Analytics: build reports with EPM Reports; support Smart View for ad-hoc analysis.
• AI Automation & Agent Development: design, build, deploy AI agents and automated workflows.
