Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support Oracle EPM Planning and AI-enabled Finance workflows. You will translate business requirements into scalable EPM solutions, drive AI automation, and collaborate with FP&A to streamline budgeting and forecasting.

This role focuses on data integration with the data warehouse and ERP systems. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Oracle Hyperion/EPM (2+ in EPM Cloud), hands-on AI tooling experience, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on Oracle Hyperion/EPM experience, including 2+ years in EPM Cloud.
3+ years supporting FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, or Tax with strong financial statement literacy.
Hands-on experience building AI automation and AI agents.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation, pipeline troubleshooting, and ad-hoc analysis.
Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP via middleware (e.g., OIC).
Experience operating data orchestration and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Responsibilities

Support design, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle EPM Planning modules (Financials, Workforce, Capital, etc).
Develop and maintain business rules and calc scripts; Groovy scripting for data and forecast modeling.
Support data flows with AWS data warehouse, Oracle ERP Cloud, and Workday; leverage Data Management and EPM Automate.
Assist with monthly Oracle patch cycle, regression testing, and impact analysis of new features.
Partner with FP&A to automate budgeting/forecasting and enhance data integration.
