Job summary
US Tech Solutions is seeking a Data Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS DBA) to join a client’s data platforms. The role focuses on Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Oracle DB 19c, WebLogic, and Linux, with responsibilities spanning design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of enterprise databases and platforms.
You will operate across on-prem and cloud environments, apply IaC with Terraform, and collaborate to advance modernization while ensuring security, reliability, and performance for mission-critical
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
- Oracle 19c RAC on Linux/Unix with patching and tuning.
- EBS R12.2.x administration including upgrades and migrations.
- WebLogic server administration and lifecycle management.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and maintain databases and architecture.
- Manage Oracle EBS 12.2.x, WebLogic, and 19c RAC on Linux/Unix.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across systems.
- Maintain database security controls and data protection standards.
- Develop and monitor database management policies and best practices.
- Recommend enhancements for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Perform preventive maintenance and issue resolution.
- Patch, clone, backups, and recovery; troubleshoot EBS and integrated apps.
- Deploy, upgrade, relocate, and decommission DB servers on-prem and in cloud.
- Provide advanced technical support for Oracle EBS and databases.
- Support evolution of data platforms and participate in roadmaps.
