Job summary

Zebra is seeking a hands-on Data Platform Engineer/Oracle EBS Application DBA to manage Oracle 19c databases and Oracle EBS 12.2.x on Linux, including WebLogic. The role requires OCI, IaC with Terraform, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Position requires in-office presence 3 days per week in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY, with 2 days remote for US-based staff. Excellent candidate collaboration and architecture input are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Solid experience with Oracle 19c RAC on Linux/Unix.
• Expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration.
• Proficiency with Oracle WebLogic Server lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for Oracle EBS and database issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in EBS and integrated apps.
• Manage and maintain E-Business Suite 12.2.x, WebLogic and Oracle DB 19c.
• Perform system administration: patching, cloning, backup, recovery.
• Deploy, upgrade, relocate, and decommission database servers (on-prem and cloud).
• Plan databases: base definitions, structure, long-range requirements, security controls.
• Ensure data accuracy in master files and support tools.
• Propose enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Provide preventative maintenance and quick problem resolution.
