Job summary

Zebra is seeking a hands-on Data Platform Engineer/Oracle EBS Application DBA to manage Oracle 19c databases and EBS 12.2.x on Linux, including WebLogic. The role requires OCI, IaC with Terraform, and Oracle Middleware, with on-site presence 3 days/week in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY and 2 days remote.

Strong problem-solving and automation skills are essential. Minimum 5+ years of DBA/Oracle experience, Oracle EBS administration, and Linux/Unix expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in DBA/Oracle EBS environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle 19c RAC on Linux/Unix including patching, backup and recovery.
• Expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration (upgrades, migrations, support).
• Proven experience with WebLogic Server lifecycle (install, config, patch, upgrade).
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting.
• Ability to build custom automation tools for large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for Oracle EBS and database issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EBS and integrated applications problems.
• Manage E-Business Suite 12.2.x, WebLogic and 19c database.
• Perform patching, cloning, backup and recovery tasks.
• Deploy, upgrade, and relocate databases on‑prem and in the cloud.
• Define database strategy, architecture, and standards.
