Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS) to manage and evolve our Oracle database and ERP ecosystem across EBS 12.2.x, Oracle 19c RAC, WebLogic, and Linux platforms.

The role focuses on database administration, performance tuning, security, reliability, and collaboration on modernization projects, with both on-premises and cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of DBA experience.
• Strong Oracle 19c RAC administration on Linux/Unix.
• Hands-on Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration and support.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle EBS 12.2.x and Oracle 19c RAC environments.
• Perform installation, patching, cloning, upgrades, backup/recovery, and tuning.
• Maintain security, availability, and data integrity of databases.
• Troubleshoot Oracle EBS and database issues.
• Support on-prem and cloud-based database deployments.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and platform modernization.
• Automate operations with scripting and tooling.

Job description

We're seeking a Platform Engineer (Oracle EBS) to manage and evolve our Oracle database and ERP ecosystem. This role is responsible for the administration, performance, security, and reliability of Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Oracle 19c RAC, WebLogic, and Linux-based environments, while supporting our next-generation data platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Oracle 19c RAC, and WebLogic environments
• Perform database installation, patching, cloning, upgrades, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
• Maintain database security, availability, and data integrity
• Troubleshoot complex Oracle EBS and database issues
• Support on-prem and cloud-based database infrastructure deployments
• Participate in architecture discussions, platform modernization, and new project initiatives
• Automate and optimize database operations through scripting and tooling

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of DBA experience
• Strong Oracle 19c (or newer) RAC administration experience on Linux/Unix
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS R12.2.x administration and support
• Experience managing Oracle WebLogic Server environments
• Strong Linux/Unix and shell scripting skills
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and large-scale system support
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion, EPM, OTM, or Oracle Middleware experience
• Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA, OCI Architect, WebLogic Administrator)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
