Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Business Analysts to collect, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role focuses on requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and providing functional support to ensure Oracle EBS aligns with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• iProcurement, iSupplier, Trading Partners, and Payables experience.
• Understanding of SLA and accounting concepts.
• Experience tailoring Oracle Applications to meet client needs.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x schema and able to create queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis: gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features.
• Solution design: translate needs into functional specifications and design system solutions leveraging Oracle EBS.
• Configuration and implementation: configure Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements and support projects through to production.
• Testing: create test plans and perform functional testing including UAT.
• Functional support: provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Collaboration: bridge between business units and technical teams for integration of solutions.
• Process improvement: analyze existing processes and identify improvements using Oracle EBS.
• Documentation and training: develop system and user docs and deliver training.
