Swift is seeking an Oracle DevOps Engineer to join our Database Platform team. You will automate Oracle DB administration, develop scripts, and improve platform reliability while collaborating with DBAs and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in a systems engineering, DevOps, platform or database engineering role.
• Automation experience with Ansible.
• Python or shell scripting proficiency.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Git and collaborative development practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation for Oracle DB administration and platform ops.
• Write Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Develop Python and shell scripts to automate tasks and reporting.
• Analyze recurring issues and convert to reusable automation.
• Support Oracle DB platforms including install, config, patching, health checks.
• Collaborate with DBAs and infra teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.
• Create documentation and automation standards.
• Drive a DevOps culture focused on reliability.
