Infosys is seeking a Senior Data Conversion consultant with a strong utility domain background. In this role, you will play a techno-functional role in the Data Conversion track of the CIS solution for Electric and Gas utilities, specifically related to Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), or Customer Cloud Services (CCS). The candidate should have experience in data conversion from legacy systems to Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS, with a leadership role in data conversion projects for 3-4 years in North American utilities markets.

This position is based out of Columbus, OH. Candidates can work from anywhere in the USA or remotely within the EST time zone. Travel to project locations may be required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Consideration will also be given to three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years' experience in data conversion projects for utilities, with 3-4 years’ experience as a lead.
• Experience of at least 3 or 4 full-cycle data conversions for utilities (Power/Water/Sewer), including hands-on design and deployment.
• Proficient with Oracle CC&B data model and key functionalities.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct CC&B/C2M/CCS data conversion workshops with business and IT system owners to understand legacy systems.
• Identify and perform data profiling for legacy data; lead data mapping and design activities.
• Define data conversion strategy and data reconciliation processes.
• Design ETL jobs for data conversion using tools like Informatica or ODI.
• Develop and test data conversion ETL jobs.
• Plan and lead data conversion go-live activities.
• Collaborate with Oracle CC&B functional team to understand impacts on data activities.
• Proficient in writing SQL for data profiling and mapping activities.
• Assist the project team with functional issues during execution.

The job involves extended periods of working at a computer and communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per project needs.
