Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an Oracle APEX Developer SME to support full lifecycle development of Oracle applications in the Washington, DC area. The role emphasizes customer interface, self-start capabilities, and on-site collaboration to translate requirements into actionable solutions.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and related tools, plus Agile development and strong documentation skills. DoD Public Trust clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, including the Oracle APEX toolset.
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Experience with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType).
• Agile development experience.
• Customer interface experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using Oracle APEX.
• Work with Oracle IDEs and web technologies to design and implement solutions.
• Create dynamic reports and manage database objects in Oracle environment.
• Develop APIs and integrations to external applications.
• Deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications.
