Oracle is seeking a hands-on senior Oracle APEX developer to build, secure, and support customer-facing APEX/OCI applications for federal clients. This IC role requires technical leadership without formal management, delivering end-to-end development and collaborating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software/web development, 4+ years in Oracle APEX, and strong SQL/PLSQL/Javascript/HTML/CSS skills, plus Jira/Agile experience and excellent communication with federal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IS or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive software or web development experience with senior‑level delivery.
• 4+ years of hands‑on Oracle APEX development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ADB, ORDS, OAG, ICAP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, REST services, and enterprise integrations using ADB and ORDS.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and secure user interfaces with APEX, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement secure patterns and support compliance with federal security, accessibility, and development standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, and federal stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; provide estimates, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, improve development practices, document solutions, and mentor less‑experienced developers.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application, database, integration, and performance issues.
