North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Technician for the Turnover Team in the Short Stay Surgery department. This role transports patients, specimens, and sterile supplies, and supports the OR team with aseptic setup and turnover to ensure smooth surgical operations.

The position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Good written and verbal communication required.
• Ability to plan and organize turnover tasks in a fast-paced OR setting.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients and specimens between units and OR/PAU.
• Assist the OR team with sterile setup and turnover of trays and equipment.
• Inspect sterile packages, ensure aseptic technique, and maintain clean OR rooms.
• Move supplies, instruments, and blood products per policies and procedures.
• Help limit traffic in OR to reduce contamination during turnover.
