Job summary

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program graduate or equivalent, CPR certification, and readiness for orientation. Minimum high school diploma or GED; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification on hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant surgical experience preferred; orientation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical procedures by selecting supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and perform surgical counts.
• Assist surgeons as a scrubbed team member and rely on RN circulator for guidance.
• Decontaminate, clean and sterilize instruments for reuse per hospital policy.
• Attend required in-services and competency education programs.
