Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room, prepare sterile fields, and support surgeons during procedures. You will maintain instrument integrity, ensure patient safety, and participate in post-procedure setup under RN supervision.

Qualified candidates should have surgical technology education or certification, with CST/TS-C within 6 months of start date, and a strong focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Has completed education in surgical technology or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Certification (CST or TS-C) within 6 months of start date.
• Exhibits competency with surgical instruments and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the sterile field and assist during surgical procedures.
• Set up instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain communication with surgeon and team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with patient transfer and post-procedure care as directed.
