Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support scrub activities and assist during operative cases, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical flow under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile instruments and supplies, maintaining aseptic technique, passing tools to the surgical team, assisting with patient transfer and wound care, and promoting teamwork to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced operating room.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for surgical preparation of procedures.
• Set up sterile instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique during cases and assist with instrument handling.
• Circulate for operative procedures under supervision of RN.
• Assist with patient care at end of procedure and transfer.
• Promote safety and teamwork in the operating room.
