Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is seeking a full-time day shift Surgical Technician for the OR in Westwood, NJ. You will assist the surgeon in the sterile field, scrub, and support the circulating RN throughout cases.

Requirements include CST or NCCT certification, BLS within 14 days of hire, and 15 hours of annual continuing education to stay qualified in NJ. Preferred candidates have a Surgical Technologist program background and at least one year of CST experience.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Annual 15 hours of continuing education to maintain NJ practice.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeon in sterile field according to standards.
• Perform scrub duties in varied specialties/procedures.
• Ensure sterile supplies and equipment are available for each case.
• Assist with circulating duties under RN circulator supervision.
• Adhere to hospital, state, and departmental policies.
